Snow-shoeing

Snowshoeing started thousands of years ago as a mode of transportation and has now evolved into a popular activity for recreation and fitness. Cherries Walks offers both private and group guided tours. Offering low-impact, aerobic exercise that helps you stay in shape, snowshoeing can be as easy or hard as you want it to be. Whether you’re training for something or just want to keep fit when in Verbier, Cherrie will tailor the day to your needs.

Husky sledding

Husky dog rides are the ultimate non-skiing activity in Verbier. Chiens de Traineau is run by Olivia, who offers three dog sledding options.The most popular for skiers is the 45-minute morning only guided tour, which departs at 9:00,10:00 or 11:00 from Ruinette. For those who want to learn a little more, there is also a half or full-day tour with an introduction to dog sledding and the opportunity to learn how to drive the sled.

Yoga

Natalie Ekblom runs The Blue Yogi offering Yoga in the comfort of the chalet, mountain top or on the sun beaming terrace at No.14. Natalie is qualified to teach both the traditional Primary series of Ashtanga as well as a modified, modernised and westernised version of the Ashtanga series, referred to as The Rocket®, suitable to students of all levels. The staff at No.14 will happily arrange either a private or group session with Natalie for you.

Pargliding

Experience the thrilling sensation of soaring like a bird with a tandem parapente flight over Verbier. You don’t require any experience or level of fitness to paraglide or ‘parapont’ with Verbier Summits….just sit back and enjoy the ride!

Your pilots will be twin brothers Mike and Stu, who run Verbier Summits. The twins have been in the flying industry for 20 years with over 14,000 flying hours! Mike and Stu are true professionals and have worked in every aspect of the paragliding industry including working as stunt pilots. You could not be in more experienced hands!

No.14’s spa facilities are a welcome treat after a hard day on the slopes. With a 10-meter indoor pool, steam room, Jacuzzi and cold plunge pool, tired muscles can be relaxed with a chilled glass of champagne to hand. There are two treatment rooms and massages and beauty treatments can be booked at any time during the day or evening. We are proud to be a Bamfords accredited spa and as such we offer a range of speciality massages unique to Bamfords. All the treatments use blended organic oils and specific Bamford techniques which are designed to work on the energy channels of the body and muscles.
