James is No. 14’s head chef. His enviable experience includes working for Heston Blumenthal in his two Michelin-starred restaurant, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, as well as spending time at The Fat Duck in Bray (previously the No.1 restaurant in the world). He has worked at Simon Rogan’s award winning L’Enclume restaurant and was part of the start-up team at Fera at Claridges, which won a Michelin star in its first year of opening.
In 2013, James moved to the Alps to work as a private chef in one of Zermatt’s top chalets but Verbier has claimed him at last and it’s now his year round home. He enjoys cooking with the seasons, focusing on locally sourced ingredients and describing his style as a combination of Modern British and Modern European.
