What Are the Best Ski Chalets for Groups in Verbier? Why No.14 Stands Out

Oct 19
3 min read

Finding a ski chalet in Verbier is easy. Finding one that truly works for a large group is much harder. Whether you're bringing three generations of the family, old friends and their children, or your whole team, the same questions come up: will everyone have a proper room, who's cooking, and how do we all get to the slopes? Here's what to look for, and why No.14 was built around exactly these questions.

A Proper Room for Everyone

In many chalets, a group of twenty means bunk rooms and shared bathrooms. No.14 has 13 en-suite bedrooms for up to 26 guests: ten twin or double rooms and three master suites, each with an additional sofa bed. Most rooms open onto a private balcony, so grandparents, couples and teenagers all have their own space to retreat to.

Space to Be Together, and Apart

With more than 1,000 square metres over five floors, the chalet gives a big group room to breathe. There's a spacious living room with a fireplace, a cinema room with games consoles, a billiard room, a bar, and a large south-facing terrace with a fire pit and outdoor hot tub. For dinner, gather around the formal dining table or in the candlelit wine room, which by day doubles as a quiet place to work or meet.

Nobody Has to Cook

A fully catered chalet changes a group holiday. Our chefs prepare breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and gourmet dinners, with menus planned around your group's tastes before you arrive, and an early dinner for children when needed. The bar, house Champagne and wines are all complimentary.

Getting Everyone to the Slopes

No.14 is around 100 metres from the main slopes and just 10 metres from a beginner slope, ideal for children and anyone still learning. For everyone else, two Mercedes vans with drivers are at your disposal 24/7, making you less than five minutes away from the Médran and Savoleyres lifts. The shops and restaurants of Place Centrale are a ten-minute walk away.

A Private Spa for the End of the Day

After skiing, the whole group can unwind in the chalet's own spa: a 34°C indoor pool, a sauna, and a hammam with a cold plunge fed by a nearby freshwater river, all reserved only for your group.

A Team That Takes Care of the Details

A team of 15, including chefs, hosts, drivers and a concierge, looks after the group throughout the stay. Before you arrive, our concierge helps arrange ski lessons, lift passes, transfers and childcare, so the planning never falls on one person.

The Best Chalet for Your Group

So what makes the best ski chalet for a group in Verbier? Enough rooms, space for everyone, meals taken care of and easy access to the mountain. No.14 brings all of it together under one roof, which is also why it's included in the MICHELIN Guide's hotel selection.
